Linnanmäki is easy to find

Easy to get there
Linnanmäki is located in the Alppiharju region of Helsinki; its address is Tivolikuja 1 (Greater Helsinki Area map).

Entrances
The main gate, the Salmi entrance, is on the Alppila side of the park at Tivolikuja 1, and the South gate is on the Kallio side, at the crossing of Helsinginkatu and Sturenkatu streets.

By train
All long-distance and local trains stop at the Pasila station, which is only 1.4 kilometres from Linnanmäki. After a nice train ride, you can walk to Linnanmäki following the pedestrian way parallel to the railway. You can also easily get to Linnanmäki by bus n:o 23 or tram n:o 9 from the Ratapihantie stop.

By bus or tram from Helsinki City Centre
You can easily get to Linnanmäki from Helsinki city centre by trams no 3B, 3T, 8 and 9 or by bus n:o 23 (Rautatientori square, platform 2).

You can find the Helsinki City Transportation routes and timetables in the YTV Journey Planner that suggests routes between two selected places. Enter Tivolikuja 1 (the main gate) or Linnanmäki (the south gate) as the destination in the To field. Useful information can also be obtained from Helsinki City Transport HKL (busses and trams) and VR (long-distance and local trains).

Car parking
Parking space in the proximity of the Linnanmäki amusement park is very limited. The passenger car park areas are on the Alppila side, along the Tivolitie street. The parking fee is EUR 0.80/hour. Please bear the traffic code in mind when parking and remember that it is forbidden to park your car in park areas, sidewalks and other such places.
