Purchasing ride tickets and pre-booking entry during the 2022 season

Do I need to pre-book my visit to Linnanmäki?

We want to ensure a fun day for everyone in Linnanmäki amusement park. Entry to the amusement park is free without pre-booking every day that the park is open, unless the park’s recommended daily visitor quota has been filled. When you pre-book your visit, you will get guaranteed entry to the park on the day of your choice. This means that we have reserved a spot for you in our quota.

We are monitoring visitor numbers in the park in real time throughout our opening hours. When there is plenty of room in the park you can visit us without pre-booking. If the daily quota is about to be filled, however, we will invite those who have pre-booked entry into the park. In this situation those who have not booked entry may have to wait by the park gates until enough space has become available in the park to ensure sufficient space for all visitors.

In order to pre-book entry, you must at least purchase our cheapest ticket product. There are two options:

  • If you do not yet have a ticket product you can go to Linnanmäki’s online shop and purchase a Day Fun wristband or a Day Fun ride ticket, which both include entry to the park on the day of your choice.
    • The Day Fun wristband contains two tickets: The Day Fun wristband, which allows you to spend all day enjoying our attractions, and a Date-specific Park Ticket which gives you entry to the park.
    • The Day Fun ride ticket contains two tickets: The Day Fun ride ticket, which lets you to ride one attraction, and a Date-specific Park Ticket which gives you entry to the park.

 

  • If you have a pre-purchased Linnanmäki gift card or a wristband purchased from an S-Group outlet, you can reserve a free Date-specific Park Ticket in the online shop.

 

Are visitor numbers capped at Linnanmäki during the 2022 season, and what is the maximum number of visitors?

  • We want to make sure everyone has a good time in the amusement park by monitoring visitor numbers in real time and by capping the number of customers in the park if necessary.
  • A visitor can get guaranteed entry to the park on the day of their choice by pre-booking a Date-specific Park Ticket.
  • If the daily visitor quota is filled, we will temporarily only invite those with a pre-booked entrance ticket into the park. Once the number of visitors in the park goes down, we will start inviting other visitors into the park again.

 

We live quite far away from Linnanmäki amusement park and want to visit. How do we make sure we will get in on a specific day?

You can guarantee entry on a specific day by buying a date-specific ticket product in our online shop. You can choose between a Day Fun wristband (includes a wristband and an entrance ticket) or a Day Fun ride ticket (includes one ride ticket and an entrance ticket). By purchasing these date-specific products you can guarantee entry to the park for a specific day even if access to the park has been temporarily limited because of the cap on the number of visitors.

If you already have a wristband, a wristband gift card or a ride ticket you can reserve a free Date-specific park ticket in Linnanmäki’s online shop. This also guarantees entry on the day of your choice.

I have a Season Fun pass. Will that always give me access to the park?

Yes, a valid Season Fun pass guarantees access to the amusement park every day during the park opening hours, even if the visitor quota is about to be filled. We always check the identity of Season Fun passholders when they collect their wristbands.

We are making a booking for a day of fun at Linnanmäki (booking a Date-specific Park Ticket) on the website. The booking system is asking for a product number – on which side of the wristband is it located?

When making your reservation, you should enter the last four digits of the product number on the colourful side of the wristband, next to the QR code, into the Additional information field. The last four digits from all the wristbands in the same reservation should be entered as Additional information on the booking. If you have wristband gift cards, please enter the gift card numbers in the Additional information field.

I am the personal assistant to a disabled person, and I am bringing them to Linnanmäki. We would like to pre-book our visit – how do we do this?

If the disabled person does not yet have a wristband or a ride ticket:

You can buy a wristband (Day Fun wristband) or a ride ticket (Day Fun ride ticket) from the online shop. You will receive a PDF which contains a ticket for collecting your wristband/ride ticket as well as an entrance ticket with the validity date. Also write “ASSISTANT” in the Additional information field in the shopping cart. Find out more about the conditions for issuing assistant wristbands here.

If the disabled person has already purchased a wristband elsewhere or they have a gift card:

Make sure to reserve a free Date-specific Park Ticket for the disabled person to ensure entry on the day of your choice. When making your reservation, make sure to enter the last four digits of the wristband + ASSISTANT into the Additional information field.

Do you still sell ticket products in the amusement park, or do they have to be purchased ahead of time?

You can also buy ticket products in the amusement park. We sell wristbands and other ticket products in Linnanmäki’s ticket offices, restaurants and shops. We also sell wristbands at the following games by the main gate: Tikat, Onnenveto, and the Taffel Wheel of Fortune.

Can I pre-purchase an Evening wristband?

Evening wristbands are only sold in the park, and they are valid for the last three opening hours. We start selling the Evening Wristband three hours before the park closes, and we put it on the customer’s wrist during the purchase.

We are a family of five, and we would like to pre-book a visit to Linnanmäki. We only want to buy wristbands for our three children. How can the parents guarantee entry on a specific date?

If the whole family wants guaranteed entry to the park on a specific day, each family member should have a day-specific ticket product purchased in the online shop.

  • The Day Fun wristband includes a wristband which gives access to all attractions for a full day, as well as an entrance ticket.
  • The Day Fun ride ticket includes a ride ticket which gives access to one attraction, as well as an entrance ticket.

If your family already has a gift card or a wristband purchased from an S-Group outlet, you can also guarantee entry on the date of your choice by reserving a free entrance ticket.

I booked the wrong day. Do I need to buy a new ticket product.

Whoops-a-daisy – accidents happen! You don’t need to buy a new ticket, but do get in touch with our ticket sales team via email at [email protected] or by calling +358 50 528 5609 during the amusement park’s opening hours so that we can help you.

When do I need to show my Date-specific Park Ticket, Day Fun ride ticket or Day Fun wristband at the gates?

We are monitoring visitor numbers in real time. If there is space for more people to enjoy themselves in the amusement park, we will not ask to see your pre-booked tickets.

If the park’s daily visitor quota has nearly been reached, we will ask you to present your Day Fun wristband or Day Fun ride ticket at the gates, so that we can let you straight into the park to have fun.

I am bringing a visitor under the age of 2 to the park, and we would like to pre-book our visit. Does the child need a ticket product?

Children under the age of 2 don’t need their own ticket product, as they will always be allowed entry with their group.

I have purchased a wristband from an S-Group outlet, can I get into the park at any time?

If you want guaranteed entry to the amusement park on a specific date, we recommend that you reserve a free Date-specific Park Ticket in Linnanmäki’s online shop.


Where can I collect my Day Fun ride ticket and Day Fun wristband?

You can collect your Day Fun wristband or Day Fun ride ticket by taking the PDF ticket with your reservation to one of the following Linnanmäki outlets:

  • Ticket offices across from Taiga
  • The Taffel Wheel of Fortune near the main gates
  • The Tikat game near the main gates

I have been gifted a Linnanmäki gift card, will that give me access to the park at all times?

If you want guaranteed entry to the amusement park on a specific date, we recommend that you reserve a free Date-specific Park Ticket in Linnanmäki’s online shop. Please enter the gift card number/s in the Additional information field when making your booking.

I have bought a Linnanmäki wristband from a hotel, will that give me access to the park at all times?

If you want guaranteed entry to the amusement park on a specific date, we recommend that you reserve a free Date-specific Park Ticket in Linnanmäki’s online shop. Please enter the last four numbers from the colourful side of the wristband in the Additional information field when making your booking.

I have bought wristbands through my union and want to pre-book a visit. What should I do?

If you want guaranteed entry to the amusement park on a specific date, we recommend that you reserve a free Date-specific Park Ticket in Linnanmäki’s online shop. Please enter the name of the union in the Additional information field when making your booking.


I have booked my child’s birthday party at Linnanmäki. Do we also need to reserve date-specific tickets?

Birthday boys and birthday girls and their guests are always welcome to Linnanmäki by showing the booking confirmation for the birthday party. No other reservations are required.


I have purchased a ticket to Linnanmäki via a travel agent, do I also need to book a day-specific ticket?

We welcome these visitors without a reservation, just show the voucher you purchased at the gate.


I am coming to Linnanmäki with a group for a team contest, do we also need to book separate, date-specific tickets?

Your contact person or contest leader will meet your group outside the entrance to Sea Life on Tivolitie, as agreed. We are looking after all the arrangements, so you don’t need to make any additional reservations.  If someone gets separated from the group, just give your group name to the marshals at the gates, and they will be happy to help you find your group.


I am coming to Linnanmäki to collect the ticket products I purchased in the online shop. Will I get in even if the gates have been closed because the visitor quota has been filled?

If you pre-book a Date-specific Park Ticket in Linnanmäki’s online shop and enter your booking reference in the Additional information field, you will be able to collect your ticket products from the park’s ticket office even if we have to temporarily limit access to the park.


We want to visit the park and only use the free children’s rides. Is this still possible?

There are seven free children’s rides at Linnanmäki. We recommend arriving as soon as the park opens, as there is usually plenty of space in the park at that time even without pre-bookings.

If I have a Date-specific Park Ticket and a Day Fun wristband / Day Fun ride ticket, can I leave the park and come back during the same day?

With a date-specific ticket product you can enjoy the park all day. Be prepared to show your ticket product and booking confirmation at Linnanmäki’s gates if requested to do so. Our marshals at the gates are always happy to help.

I have come to the park with my family, and I want to go back to the car for something. If I leave the park, will I be able to get back in if the gates are closed while I’m away?

We recommend discussing this with one of the marshals by the gates before leaving to make sure that you can get back into the park if the visitor quota is filled.
